Tournament format

The following map will be used for all matches:

It comes with the following special rules:

  1. Each cell on this map is either an Ice (bleu) or Grass (green) cell.
  2. A unit can only target a cell of the same type (Ice or Grass) that they’re currently occupying.
  3. For Area of Effect spells, only cells (and unit contained within) that are the same type as the one where the caster is standing are considered targeted by the spell.
  4. The Punch spell ignores all these restrictions.

The map will stay in the same position for the whole tournament.

The format used for the championship will be Season. Players will keep their team for the entirety of the tournament.

First phase of the tournament is a Swiss round tournament. At the end of this phase, the top 16 players will enter a double-elimination bracket until the champion wins over all!

Games may last a maximum of 50 minutes.

Starting with top 16: after 50 minutes of game time, if no player has won the game when the end of allowed time is announced, the active player finishes his turn, then 6-7 extra turns are played, so that both players have played an equal number of turns once these extra turns are over. Once the extra turns are over, if no player has won, the winner will be the one with the most GG. If the game is still in a draw, the game keeps going until one player has more GG than the other.

Each player has five minutes maximum to play their turn. The use of a device giving an indication of the time is authorized so the players can estimate the duration of their turn.
