What happens after 6th level of Xelorium in Adventure Mode

Does the adventure mode just end after the mission anti-climatically? There is no grandiose final battle against the evil Xelor Nox? Or anything?

I just played the last level, it was just like normal level and nothing happened... And I can't advance any further. That's it?
