Brazil has been added to the roster this year, so the first Brazilian players will probably appear for next year's championship.
After having done the rounds of the tournaments for more than a year, it's now time to bring the greatest champions together for the World Championship! Updated: added the tournament rules and format!
After more than a year of effort, calculating, fierce matches, and for some, journeys to little-known lands, here comes the list of people who have qualified for the 2017 Krosmaster Arena World Championship!
The following players are kindly invited to join us on June 24th and 25th in Este (Italy) for a tournament among their equals at the crowning summit of the 3rd Krosmaster World Championship!
CAUTION If you want to take part in this tournament, you must send an e-mail to lescart@free.fr before May 14th, 2017 with your first name, surname, and player number, in order to confirm your presence. Otherwise, you will no longer qualify, and the grand tournament will take place without you! Don't waste any time, and confirm your presence now!
Without further delay, here's the list of players who have qualified, as well as their nationality and final number of points in the ranking:
* Warning, for t-shirts and monetary prizes, only the highest will count, they’re not cumulative.
The following map will be used for all matches:
It comes with the following special rules:
The map will stay in the same position for the whole tournament.
The format used for the championship will be Season. Players will keep their team for the entirety of the tournament.
First phase of the tournament is a Swiss round tournament. At the end of this phase, the top 16 players will enter a double-elimination bracket until the champion wins over all!
Games may last a maximum of 50 minutes.
Starting with top 16: after 50 minutes of game time, if no player has won the game when the end of allowed time is announced, the active player finishes his turn, then 6-7 extra turns are played, so that both players have played an equal number of turns once these extra turns are over. Once the extra turns are over, if no player has won, the winner will be the one with the most GG. If the game is still in a draw, the game keeps going until one player has more GG than the other.
Each player has five minutes maximum to play their turn. The use of a device giving an indication of the time is authorized so the players can estimate the duration of their turn.

Are any brazillians supposed to make it to 2017 world championship yet?
Brazil has been added to the roster this year, so the first Brazilian players will probably appear for next year's championship.
It would help a lot if we would have infos about the tournament structure, format, boss and bankist of the tournament and prizes for the decision if people will come and how they book their trip. Especially how long it will go if people want to head home at sunday, if the tournament will be closing at 4p.m. for example.
Every info you could give to the players will be much appreciated as soon as it can be given.
Thank you

A summary of the clarification :
The rule 2 specify :
A unit can only target a cell of the same type (Ice or Grass) that they’re currently occupying.
It implies that you can't primary target. If you can't target, then you can't primary target; the third point makes only meaning with this reading. But for a better understanding we will modify it tomorrow.
Actually, in french, the rule precises that point 2 is about primary target, it was a loss in the translation.
Rule 2, more precise :
A unit can only target, as primary target, a cell of the same type (Ice or Grass) that they're currently occupying.
