Would creating a new static object in the game with its own effects count as a rule? Because i want to create a new rule and a new object. Thanks.

If by "static object" you mean a new set piece, like a crate or bush, yes, this would be a special rule. However, if both your rule and your item are linked in a way that one cannot exist with the other, we could count that as one.

Say, if you have a rule that activates at the beginning of each turn and produces an effect around a specific set piece, that would be one rule, since both need to exist for the rule to work. But if you have a general rule and a set piece that has nothing to do with it (and produce an independant effect), that would be two rules.

Dewit, in the previous contest you were required to have 10 starting cells per side, and map needed to be playable in both direction. Is this still a requirement? If so, it was omitted from the rules.

It's not required, although it's a plus.

For instance, the latest World Championship map was designed to play in only one direction. And the number of starting places could be an intentional design decision (although I would leave at least 8 of them so it doesn't required any rules changes).

I have a question regarding the theme of the map. If we design the map with a certain theme in mind, such as wanting to design our map based on an area in Wakfu or Dofus, would the theme be used in the final design, or would your design team change it to better suit current or upcoming products?

I can't quite give you a definite answer concerning your theme. We will try to keep it, if possible for us, but maybe we'll need to change it for a number of reasons. Sorry I can't be more precise!

What is considered as a "new set piece" ? I would like to add a specific rules as well as the portal zap already in used in Krosmaster Quest in the very same way. Does it count in the 1 specific rules limit ?

Well, in Krosmaster Arena, there are only three set pieces that are common and used on every map: trees, bushes, and crates (plus their local variant with the same rules, i.e. a giant cawwot is still a tree in game terms).

If you want to add another set piece that has its own rules, then it will count as your map's special rule for the contest.
If you make a variant that uses the same rules as a tree/bush/crate for flavor purposes, this won't count as your special rule if they are mechanically identical to the originals.

Hi !

I need some help with the translation of my special rule.

"No bushes, trees and crates in this indoor map. A Wall occupies the side between two cells, not a cell itself which remains a free cell. A Wall is Impassable, and blocks the Lines of Sight. A Wall also blocks Area of Effect spells. If the line between the Targeted Cell and an Additional Target crosses a wall, the Additional Target is not included in the Area of Effect. A Blue Wall (lower) doesn't block the Lines of Sight, so it is possible to make a melee attack over."

Did you see some mistakes ?

Thank you =)

I'll try to help you out! There are not many mistakes and your idea makes sense from what you wrote, but fixing some minor errors in grammar can only help you! I have put the grammar errors in bold.

The section I crossed out was a little unclear, I would suggest the following: "A Wall also blocks Area of Effect spells. If the line between the Targeted Cell and an Additional Target crosses a wall, the Additional Target is not included in the Area of Effect."

Hopefully this helps!

HOW I PUT A IMAGEM ON THE POTS?

There's a button that looks like a picture, on top of the window where you write. Click on it, enter your picture's URL, and there you go. wink

fredbod: I made your picture appear on your post, no problem.
